Blogmas Day 9: Favorite Christmas Ornament

I have seen others share their favorite Christmas tree ornaments so I would take a moment and share mine with you.

I will be honest… I can’t just pick one… So you are going to get to see our collection of Peanuts ornaments and our collection of the Misfit Toys from Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer and the Island of the Misfit Toys.

We have had the Misfits since I was a young child, but we started collecting the Peanut characters shortly after my mom passed away.

The Misfits will always have a special place in my hearts.

After my mom passed away, we actually went a few years without the Misfits because we couldn’t find them, but Dad found them one summer while he was digging around in the attic of the garage looking for something. As I mentioned in a previous post we don’t put a tree up at our house because we travel to be with family for the holidays, so we brought them with us and they go on the tree we decorate at my Grandma’s house.

Christmas just isn’t Christmas until the Misfits are on the Christmas tree!
