Where did Trinket come from and why do I use it here?
My real name is Kyrsten.
Pronounced Key-er-stin.
But very rarely do people pronounce it properly.
I get Kristin. Kurstin. Kristine. Kirsty… the list goes on.
I don’t get quite as many variations with my last name, but no one pronounces that right either.
Because of the pronunciation issues I have experienced my entire life… When I decided to start this project, I knew I would need a much different, much easier to pronounce nickname to use here.
That answers the why but not where it came from…
Trinket is something my grandpa called me because of the trinkets on my keychains and the like that I love to collect.
I hope that squelches your curiosity!
